🎧 Before the Audio
- Use the 30 seconds to read questions ahead.
- Underline keywords – names, dates, places.
- Predict answer types: number? name? adjective?
⏺️ While Listening
- Watch for signpost words: "however", "but", "actually".
- If you miss an answer, move on immediately – don't panic.
- Write answers in the question booklet in shorthand.
✏️ After the Audio
- Transfer answers carefully – check spelling and plurals.
- Use all caps on paper tests to avoid case errors.
- Never leave blanks – guess if unsure (no penalty).

- Listen to BBC (UK), NPR (US), ABC (Australia).
- Shadow native speakers – repeat after, copy intonation.
