Exam Day Checklist

📅 The Night Before

✅ Sleep 7-8 hours – no cramming

✅ Pack your bag: ID, confirmation email

✅ Water (clear bottle), snack for break

✅ Analog watch (paper-based test)

✅ Extra pens/pencils (HB, eraser)

✅ Plan your route – arrive 45 min early

🌅 Morning Of

✅ Eat light, balanced breakfast (protein)

✅ Avoid too much caffeine – you'll be jittery

✅ Speak English to yourself for 5 minutes

✅ Leave home early – unexpected traffic is #1 reason for panic

✅ Do 2 minutes of box breathing before entering

1-Month Intensive Study Plan

Week 1: Foundation

📌 Take diagnostic mock test

📌 Learn all question types

📌 Build vocabulary (50 words/day)

📌 Grammar review: tenses, articles

Week 2: Skill Building

🎧 Listening: Sections 1-2 drills

📖 Reading: Skimming & scanning

✍️ Writing: Task 1 overview + Task 2 structure

🎤 Speaking: Part 1 fluency drills

Week 3: Advanced Practice

🎧 Listening: Sections 3-4 academic lectures

📖 Reading: T/F/NG + matching headings

✍️ Writing: 4 full essays + 3 Task 1 reports

🎤 Speaking: Part 2 cue card practice

Week 4: Mock Tests

📝 Take 3 full mock tests (timed)

📊 Create error analysis log

🎤 Full speaking mock interview

Listening Mastery Checklist

✅ Use 30-second pauses to read ahead

✅ Underline keywords in questions

✅ Predict answer type (name? date? number?)

✅ Watch for signpost words (however, but, actually)

✅ Never leave blanks – guess if unsure

✅ Check spelling plurals in transfer time

Reading Mastery Checklist

✅ Skim title, subtitles, first sentences (2 min)

✅ Easy questions first (sentence completion, MC)

✅ 20-20-20 rule: 20 min per passage

✅ Underline keywords in questions – scan for synonyms

✅ T/F/NG: True=same, False=contradicts, NG=missing

✅ Save matching headings for last

Writing Mastery Checklist

✅ Task 2 first (40 min), Task 1 second (20 min)

✅ 5 min plan before writing (thesis + 2 ideas)

✅ Task 1: Always include an overview paragraph

✅ Use PEEL for body paragraphs (Point-Explain-Example-Link)

✅ Leave 3-5 minutes to proofread

✅ Check spelling, subject-verb agreement, articles

Speaking Mastery Checklist

✅ Part 1: 2-3 sentence answers (Answer + Reason + Example)

✅ Part 2: 1-min prep – write 4-5 keywords only

✅ Part 2: Use PPF method (Past-Present-Future)

✅ Part 3: PEEL method (Point-Explain-Example-Link)

✅ Natural pause fillers: "That's interesting..."

✅ Ask for clarification if needed ("Could you rephrase?")

Weekly Error Tracking Log

🔴 Listening errors logged by question type (form completion, map, MC)

🔴 Reading errors logged (T/F/NG, headings, sentence completion)

🔴 Writing feedback reviewed – corrected errors re-written

🔴 Speaking recording listened to – hesitations and grammar noted

🔴 Weekly error pattern identified – focused drill on that type
