Meta Description: Learn how to form future tense sentences in English. Simple examples for beginners to practice daily.
Welcome to Day 13 of our Beginners English series! Today we make the Future Tense super easy. 😊
The future tense talks about things that will happen later — tomorrow, next week, next year, etc.
Two Easy Ways to Talk About the Future
- Will + verb (most common for beginners – predictions, decisions, promises)
- Be going to + verb (for plans you already decided, or when you have present evidence something will happen)
1. Simple Future with "Will"
Structure: Subject + will + base verb
Positive Sentences (Affirmative)

- We will play football after school.
- He will buy a new phone next month.

Short form (very common in speaking): I'll, you'll, he'll, she'll, it'll, we'll, they'll
- I'll see you later.
- We'll go to the market.
Negative Sentences
Structure: Subject + will not (won't) + base verb

- She won't come to the party.
- We won't forget your birthday.
- He won't tell anyone the secret.

Questions
