Welcome to Day 5 of our beginner English grammar series on Smart English! Today, we learn one of the most important basics: how to use is, am, and are. These are forms of the verb "to be" in the present tense. They help us describe people, things, feelings, and states right now.

Short form: I'm happy. (I'm = I am)
