Tenses
Present Simple
Used for habits, general truths, repeated actions, and fixed arrangements.
Examples:
I work every day.
The sun rises in the east.
I am work every day. → I work every day.
Present Continuous
Used for actions happening at the moment of speaking or temporary situations.
Examples:
She is reading a book right now.
They are staying with us for a week.
She reads a book right now. → She is reading a book right now.
Past Simple
Used for completed actions in the past, with a specific time mentioned or implied.
Examples:
I visited Paris last year.
She didn't go to the party.
I have visited Paris last year. → I visited Paris last year.
Present Perfect
Used for actions that happened at an unspecified time in the past or have relevance to the present.
Examples:
I have seen that movie three times.
She has lived in London since 2010.
I saw that movie three times. (without specific time) → I have seen that movie three times.
